We have two libraries, distinctively for the junior and senior school, enhancing learning and teaching processes. This is the place where the students can increase their knowledge and understanding on various subjects. Both the libraries have an impressive index of titles, large and vibrant collection of text books, fiction and non-fiction, magazines, and newspapers. Internet facilities are available for research and study.

Each single classroom is equipped with robust infrastructure and modern facilities like white board, projector, Touch-screen LCD, a super-fast desktop or a laptop, one assessment device per child and Hi-Fi speakers. Digital Interactive Classroom seamlessly covers the complete curriculum of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), hence creating an interactive and active learning environment.

The school has six well equipped laboratories for enhancing practical applications, demonstrations and experimentation. Physics, chemistry and biology lab are provided with facilities and modern equipment to learn and get acquainted with scientific knowledge. We do provide separate maths and psychology labs with ultra-modern infrastructure and study materials to enrich and emphasize on practical applications.

Young souls are wonderfully inquisitive and curious. Here we are there to unleash their creative minds apart from academic enhancement. DBM provides interactive activity room for more exploration and experimentation. We have separate Art room, Music room and Dance room.
Moreover, every student can choose a performing group where they either learn or continue existing studies in subjects like instrumental music, dance, guitar, chorus, or visual art. This is essential for the holistic development of every child.

Auditorium is a central and important space in all school. Students here at Don Bosco School, Malda are lucky enough to have one multi-purpose auditorium. It is an ideal space for the school assemblies, events, stage performances, indoor competitions and Inter-House school activities. Our auditorium has an enormous seating capacity of approximately 1000.

The School Canteen offers a food service during lunch and recess times. Healthy snacks and beverages are obtainable at affordable prices. Our canteen serves the students on Sundays and other special occasions. Strict hygiene standards are maintained at all times. Having a proper an d well maintained hygienic canteen uphold and encourage students to develop healthy eating habits.

The book store present in the school premises offers textbooks, notebooks and workbooks in accordance with prescribed books for each class and subject options. All kinds of stationery and a range of miscellaneous items are available at special prices. Photo copy facility is also available for students at book store.
Medical Room
Medical Room
We have a well-equipped Infirmary in DBM with two full time doctors and trained nurses. Necessary first aid to the students is provided in times of emergency. An annual health check-up is conducted by specialists. There is a regular maintenance of medical record of each and every child. It functions round the clock and caters to the boarders 24/7. The medical room is equipped with 10 beds for the children. Health related seminars on prevention of various illnesses like chronic diseases, swine flu, dengue, chicken pox, is also a regular feature.

Two football pitches and one tennis court with grassed areas is what Don Bosco School provide for outdoor sport activities. Kindergarten students have separate play area which is totally safe and secure. The area where sports activities are conducted is furnished with a variety of outdoor play equipment. Extensive outdoor and indoor sports facilities are geared towards developing skills of the students and also to build soft skills like team spirit, loyalty, hard work and dedication.
