The House System: The school provides all opportunities to every child for the physical and mental development and with this end in view, the club System has been introduced and all the co-curriculum and sports activities are organized house wise in the school

1) DBSM - GLADIATORS CLUB :
Physical - The school management has arrangements to provide the following games and sports for the physical development of students: Football, Cricket, Volleyball, Badminton, Hockey, Table Tennis, Kho Kho, Taekwondo.

5 sports help in Child Brain Development-

  1. Basket Ball & Football - Build stamina, increase concentration.
  2. Gymnastics - Builds core strength makes your child sit and learn for longer time.
  3. Table Tennis & Racket (Badminton) - Builds hands and eye coordination. Helps in writing.
  4. Swimming - Reduces stress & anxiety
  5. Chess - Helps in developing strategic thinking.

2) DBSM- STEELERS CLUB:
Literary - Debates, Essay writing, Recitation, Declamation, Dialogues, Quiz, Antakshari, Sudoku etc. Social & Cultural - Music (Vocal & Instrumental), Dancing, Dramatics etc.

3) DBSM-EXPLORER CLUB:
Club that explores the world from Tip to Toe for a gaining more knowledge.

4) DBSM- ELEMENTS ENTHUSIASTS CLUB:
Exhibition, Innovation, Creativity, Science Festival etc.

5) DBSM - WARRIORS CLUB:
Go out of way and achieve their goals.

6) DBSM - THE REAL WORLD READINESS CLUB: (Work Wizards)
Life Skills - The skill that passport to success, cultivates are known by many names: Soft skills, Social - Emotional skills, essential skills, 21st Century skills, work readiness skills and the list goes on.

RECESS
Two tiffin breaks are given - Short-Break / Long Break.

Recess is vital to education, not just a break but the heart beat of learning.

Here, students build social skills, resilience and academic foundations.

Through unstructural play, they master problem-solving. team work, and even self-regulation, becoming well-rounded individuals.

FIELD TRIPS

We at Don Bosco School, Malda firmly believe that real learning occurs outside the parameters of the classroom; hence school organizes field trips to various places to induce love for nature, to provide direct purposeful experience and evoke passion for their national and social environment. Outstation educational trips are also organized for senior students.
